Reality TV star Kim Kardashian said on Tuesday she is supporting Democrat Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid in 2016.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” celebrity backed Clinton during an interview at the Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco, according to The Daily Beast.

{mosads}Judge LaDoris Cordell, the event’s host, asked Kardashian if she thinks Clinton will become America’s first female president.

“I hope so,” Kardashian responded, The Daily Beast reported.

The Daily Beast also reported that Kardashian praised Friday’s Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide.

“[I’m] proud of Obama and proud to be an American,” she said of the 5-4 decision issued for Obergefell v. Hodges.

The Supreme Court ruled on Friday that states must recognize all same-sex marriages.

Kardashian additionally called for stricter gun control during her interview on Tuesday night, The Daily Beast reported.

“If I could do something to change the world … I’m not really a gun person, and we do not have strict enough gun control laws,” she said.
