Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) received a great souvenir from husband, pollster Stan Greenberg, who just returned from a trip to Florence, Italy.

And it was far nicer than a T-shirt.

DeLauro was sporting the fitted black leather jacket with princess sleeves at Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta’s birthday party on Friday.

“Stan just got back and brought me this,” she told ITK. “Italian leather is amazing, and they really use it in ways that you don’t often see in the States.”

DeLauro should know: She comes from a large Italian-American family.

And it’s clearly in the genes: DeLauro’s daughter, Kathryn Greenberg, was also at the party, wearing a backless black number that turned more than a few heads.
