An "alarming" typo from Rep. Bob Brady's (D-Pa.) office had congressional staffers laughing this week.

A memo was sent Thursday afternoon about a resolution to honor the National Museum of American Jewish History.

But the email subject line read only, "Democratic: Dear Colleague: Help."

To make matters worse, the headline in the body of the memo said only "Help," bolded and center-spaced.

As one recipient said, "Our office thought there must be some intern trapped in a congressional storage cage somewhere."

A few minutes later, the intended subject line and headline came out on a second version: "Help Recognize the Contributions of Jewish Americans." Phew!

ITK hopes any interns stuck in congressional storage cages were released safely.
