President Barack Obama wouldn't mind having one of the NBA's best players suit up for his favorite team.

Cleveland Cavaliers' small forward LeBron James, widely considered to be greatest players in the game, is a free agent this summer. After an early exit from the playoffs Thursday night, many are speculating that he could leave his home state for greener pastures.

One of the teams he is rumored to be considering, Obama's hometown Chicago Bulls.

ESPN Chicago on Friday quoted senior White House adviser David Axelrod saying, "[Obama] doesn't want to tamper, but as a Chicago fan, the president thinks LeBron would look great in a Bulls uniform."

James will become a free agent on July 1, and word on the street is that the star Cavs player may be headed to Chicago.

Axelrod is a Bulls season ticket holder, and his boss, the president, supports Chicago sports. Obama can often be found sporting a Chicago White Sox cap.
