Attention amateur and freelance photographers: The Environmental Protection Agency wants your help to document America's natural beauty.

The EPA on Sautrday announced the beginning of a new phase in its decades-long Documerica project, a photo program begun more than 35 years ago to "capture images of environmental problems, EPA activities, and everyday life in America."

This year, submissions will be accepted via the photo sharing site Flickr, and the top photos will be showcased on the EPA's website starting on April 15 and culminating on Earth Day, April 22.

The new collection will debut in an exhibition in April of next year.
