Tosca, the Italian restaurant in the heart of D.C., has long been known for attracting Washington bigwigs.

But on Friday, the bold-faced names were especially abundant.

Former White House budget director Peter Orszag had lunch with ex-Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) at a center table. Uber-lobbyist Tony Podesta, sitting nearby, exchanged pleasantries with the Democratic duo, as did CNN political analyst Gloria Borger.

Borger wasn't the only media celebrity at Tosca: Mark Leibovich of The New York Times was breaking bread at a corner table.
