It's no secret that Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) loves being mistaken for a congressional staffer, a mix-up the boyish looking 44 year-old endures regularly.

But mistaken for a 20 year-old? Well, that's even better.

During a stop at the swanky steakhouse Capital Grille Thursday night, the lawmaker was asked to produce ID verifying that he was 21. But where some big shots might have been annoyed by the hassle, Himes was elated.

"Just got carded at the Capitol Grille. I will eat three meals a day here from now on," Himes tweeted.

Given the average cost of $50 per person (for dinner), Himes is looking at some serious restaurant bills.
