Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) doesn't see anything wrong with being a flake.

He took to his twitter account Monday to question the word's usage.

"'Are you a Flake?'. Is there something wrong with that? What am I missin' here?" he asked.

The word "flake" made headlines this week after Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), who announced her candidacy for president Monday morning, defended herself from the characterization.

On Sunday, Fox News' Chris Wallace asked Bachmann, "Are you a flake?" Bachmann later refused to accept Wallace's public apology, saying it was "insulting to insinuate that a candidate for president is less than serious."
