“I hardly even know who he is,” Trump said of Oliver on Fox Sports 1’s “The Herd” with host Colin Cowherd on Monday.

“I don’t know much about him,” he added. "I wouldn’t even know what he looks like.”

Trump recently said that he had turned down an invitation from Oliver to appear on his show, HBO's "Last Week Tonight." The show, however, denied that the billionaire was ever invited to appear as a guest.

“I checked with my people and he asked me to be on the show four or five times,” Trump said Monday.

“Now all of the sudden he says, ‘We would never have Trump on the show,’” Trump added. "And I say, ‘Isn’t that the guy who really wanted me badly on the show?’

“That’s just a lie,” the billionaire added. “A lot of people wouldn’t say that and would just let things die. I don’t like to let things die.”

Trump has blasted the show on Saturday as "very boring" and "low rated."

“Yes, we have a boring show,” read a response from the show's official Facebook page on Sunday. "[But] at no point did we invite Donald Trump to appear on it.”

Trump told Cowherd on Monday that Oliver's actions are just another failure on the part of the media to cover his campaign fairly.

“There has been a tremendous loyalty and a tremendous dishonesty in the press,” he said.

“Our country is being taken away like candy from a baby,” the New York business mogul added. "People are tired of it, and I think that’s why I’ve resonated.”

Oliver has repeatedly expressed his apathy toward Trump’s campaign.

“I don’t really care about him in any capacity,” he said on Oct. 30 on “CBS This Morning." "I don’t really have anything to say to him.

“He’s an open book,” the comic added. "That book just doesn’t have any interesting words in it. It’s not like you’re going to find the secret nugget he has been holding back.”
