Trump predicts New England Patriots will win next Super Bowl

“I have to root for Tom,” Trump told host Jeffrey Kuhner on “The Kuhner Report” on WRKO 680-AM in Boston.

“Tom is my friend and has been my friend,” the GOP presidential front-runner said Monday. "Your coach is great. ... You have a terrific owner in Bob Kraft. I’ve always rooted for them. They’re all my friends, and they’ve been my friends for a long time.”

Trump then dismissed claims Brady is playing below 100 percent as his team heads into the playoffs.

“They say he’s going to be OK for the game,” he said.

“He’s such a competitor that even if he isn’t OK, he’s better than anyone else,” Trump continued.

“I know Tom and he’s the greatest guy. What a great football player. You’ve got yourself a real gem, believe me.”

Brady is reportedly nursing a sprained right ankle following New England's loss to Miami on Sunday.

The quarterback is expected to fully recover before his team’s playoff matchup on Jan. 16 against a still-undetermined opponent, ESPN reported Monday.

Trump has repeatedly touted his personal relationship with Brady since launching his Oval Office bid last year.

Brady, meanwhile, praised Trump last month for the real estate mogul's “supportive” friendship over the years. Brady has stopped short of endorsing Trump for the presidency, however.

Brady currently boasts four Super Bowl rings and is hoping for his team’s second-consecutive championship this season.
