The “Get Shorty” actor made a surprise appearance Sunday at a Sanders rally in St. Louis.

“I’m here because you’re here,” DeVito, 71, enthusiastically told the crowd in a clip posted by ABC News, “because I feel the Bern!” 

DeVito called Sanders a man "who speaks the truth, a man who’s got the knowledge, a man who’s been there for us since the beginning of his career.” 

The “Taxi” star embraced Sanders after introducing him to the crowd of supporters. 

DeVito hit the campaign trail in 2012 in support of President Obama's re-election bid.
