‘Scumbag Steve': Trump one of ‘the biggest scumbags around’

“Being considered the quintessential Internet scumbag, known worldwide — bragging in Trump fashion — I can, without any hesitation, say that Trump is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist, bully and beyond measure one of the biggest scumbags around,” said Blake Boston, according to BuzzFeed.


Boston also noted he has concerns with Trump’s honesty, arguing that the GOP presidential front-runner has a record of deception.

“The man’s a liar," he said. "Plain and simple, he lies. Scumbags lie. Damn, let’s hope I don’t get sued.”

Boston became a symbol of rudeness when a photo of him wearing a puffy coat and a backward baseball cap went viral in 2011 after initially appearing on Reddit, BuzzFeed reported on Monday.

The “Scumbag Steve” meme has since been endlessly repeated online, with the photo often sporting a setup line at the top that ends with a punch line, typically implying inconsideration at the bottom.

Trump has faced repeated criticism over his campaign rhetoric, which detractors say is over-the-top or even demeaning to his political opponents. He has countered that he is merely a truth-teller who cares about America too deeply for political correctness.

The outspoken billionaire leads the Republican presidential field by more than 14 points, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.
