“I never said that I endorsed Ted Cruz,” she said late Thursday an E! international press junket for her television program “I Am Cait,” according to ABC News.
“I said I like him,” Jenner added. "He is a constitutionalist, and I think we have to get our country back to something like that.”
Jenner initially praised Cruz's right-wing values earlier this month, adding she could offer him advice on transgender issues.
“I like Ted Cruz,” she said at the time. "I think he’s very conservative and a great constitutionalist and a very articulate man. But I also think, he’s an evangelical Christian and one of the worst ones on trans issues.
“Let’s say he goes on to be president,” she continued. "I [would] have all my girls on a trans issues board to advise him on making decisions when it comes to trans issues. Isn’t that a good idea? Yes, trans ambassador to the president of the United States, so we can say, ‘Ted, love what you’re doing, but here’s what’s going on.' ”

“I would never, ever, ever vote for Hillary,” the reality TV star said in last weekend’s episode of her show.
“We’re done if Hillary becomes president, our country is over,” Jenner continued.
“What has she done in her life?” she asked. "Look at all the things that are going on in the Middle East, all because of what she did. Benghazi, she lied to us. She’s a f---ing liar. She’s a political hack. That’s all she is. She’s done nothing."
