Obama golfs in San Francisco

President Obama braved the rain and a thick fog to hit the links in San Francisco on Saturday, according to pool reports.

The president was joined by regular golf partners Marvin Nicholson, Joe Paulsen and David Katz at the Olympic Club — site of the PGA Tour's U.S. Open several times, most recently in 2012.

Obama is currently on a week-long trip in California, where he has been attending Democratic fundraisers.

On a trip out west earlier in the year, Obama golfed the famed Stadium West in La Quinta, Calif. — considered one of the most difficult courses in the world.
