President Obama appeared in a public service announcement aired during Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards. The video, inspired by the president’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, focuses on the importance of investing in young people.

“If we believe in their futures, they will believe in them too,” Obama says in the spot.

It highlights a new public engagement campaign designed to help people take action to help address opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color, according to the White House.

The president launched My Brother’s Keeper in 2014.
