The Republican presidential front-runner turned some heads last week when he appeared to suggest that North Carolina’s controversial “bathroom law” had gone too far.

During an appearance on the "Today” show, Trump advised the state to "leave it the way it is” and let people "use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate.”

His comments sparked a harsh response from Cruz, who lashed out against the “absurd” suggestion that "grown men would be allowed alone in a bathroom with little girls.”

Jenner, who previously spoke positively about Cruz and even floated the possibility of advising the Texas senator on transgender issues, clarified last month that she was not endorsing him for president.
