Tom Marino resigns from Congress MORE on Tuesday invoked Leslie Knope — deputy parks director of the fictional town of Pawnee, Ind., on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" — on the day of the Indiana primary.
Clinton's campaign posted a video to social media of the Democratic presidential candidate speaking with Amy Poehler, who plays Knope on the show.
"What kind of president would Leslie Knope be?" Clinton asks Poehler of her high-strung, multi-tasking character.
"Oh my god," Poehler responded. "She would run out of gas really fast."
Clinton has long shown interest in the show, emailing an aide in 2010 asking for the NBC sitcom's broadcast time. The email was among thousands released by the State Department.
Poehler has been among a slew of celebrities to endorse Clinton, who is hoping to pick up more delegates in the Hoosier State on Tuesday.
