Actor Johnny Depp on Wednesday said Donald Trump would be America’s final president should he win the White House.

“Here’s the thing — if Donald Trump is elected president of the United States, in a kind of historical way it’s exciting because we will see the actual last president of the United States,” he told Channel 5 host Minnie Stephenson, as first reported by The Daily Mail. “It just won’t work after that.

{mosads}“I just don’t believe in that stuff, you know?” Depp said when asked why he does not support the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s Oval Office bid.

The Daily Mail on Wednesday reported that Depp was in London promoting the release of his latest film, “Alice Through the Looking Glass.”

Depp plays the Mad Hatter in the movie, according to the Internet Movie Database. It is a sequel to 2010’s “Alice in Wonderland.”

Depp has frequently criticized Trump this election cycle, slamming the billionaire well before he became the GOP’s presumptive nominee last week.

He portrayed Trump in February, starring as the real estate tycoon in a 50-minute faux television adaptation for the comedy website Funny or Die.

Oscar winner Ron Howard directed Depp’s performance, which covered Trump at the height of his moneymaking as recounted by the businessman’s book, “The Art of the Deal.” Depp was joined in the parody film by other actors including Alfred Molina, Robert Morse and Patton Oswalt.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star lashed out at Trump in March, detailing why he rejects the Republican’s message.

“I approached Donald Trump as what you kind of see in him when you really watch him,” he told a crowd at Arizona State University. “There’s a pretense; there’s something created about him in the sense of bullydom.

“But what he is, I believe, is a brat,” Depp added of playing the wealthy Manhattanite. “He’s a brat.”

Trump said last February that he considers Depp a “great actor,” adding he is not bothered by celebrities imitating him.

“I know the business. I know the game, and I’m not offended,” he said on Feb. 14.
