Bill and Hillary Clinton are thrilled to be grandparents again, they said in a statement.

"We are all over the moon as Chelsea and Marc welcome Charlotte's little brother to the world and grateful for our many blessings," their statement read. "Chelsea and Aidan are both doing well and enjoying this very special time together."

Clinton frequently mentions the joys of being a grandmother on the campaign trail and cited the birth of her first grandchild, Charlotte, as her inspiration for seeking the presidency again.

"Having this wonderful little person in your life makes you think about the future in a whole new way," Clinton told "Us Weekly" in April. "Being a grandmother is the most amazing experience."

Chelsea gave birth to Charlotte in 2014.
