Ice-T, who stars in the show, tweeted an image of Biden on camera with another of the show's actors, Mariska Hargitay, with whom Biden has collaborated before on advocacy.

Biden arrived for the taping with approximately 40 people in his entourage, according to Ice-T.

The White House said Thursday that the vice president and his wife. Jill Biden. would be in New York City on Friday for the taping, with Biden's cameo intended to highlight a backlog of rape kits and address violence against women, issues Biden has spoken about often.
