Hip-hop star Lil Wayne says Hillary Clinton has his permission to use his lyrics.

“I’m very cool with it,” he told TMZ Friday after hearing that the Democratic presidential nominee used lines similar to lyrics from his hit “Sky’s the Limit” in her address to the Democratic National Convention.

{mosads}Wayne said he had not yet seen Clinton’s Thursday address despite hearing from listeners who saw similarities to his music.

“I heard about that, I heard about that,” he said. “I haven’t peeped it yet, I’ve got to peep it first. Am I cool with her? I haven’t met her a day in my life.”

Clinton on Thursday accepted the Democratic presidential nomination, the first woman to be nominated by a major party in U.S. history.

“When any barrier falls in America, for anyone, it clears the way for everyone. When there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit,” she said.

When TMZ quoted the relevant passage of Clinton’s speech to Wayne, he celebrated by pumping his fists in the air and uttering a profanity.
