ITK caught up with Manigault — who once worked for the Clinton administration and is known as one of reality TV’s “nastiest villains of all time” — at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Trump International Hotel DC, the Pennsylvania Avenue property owned by the real estate mogul.
Manigault, who’s serving as Trump’s director of African-American outreach, said she’d be open to a gig with a Trump administration.
“I worked in the White House already. I think every American should have the opportunity to serve their country,” she said.
“I have a lot of responsibilities that I put off for the last 17 months — one of which, of course, is my church, and the other is being a reserve chaplain, which I take very seriously,” Manigault, 42, said. “But if asked to serve my country in any way, that’s what I’m about and that’s what I would do.”
