The Obamas are going out in style.

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, just two weeks before turning over the White House to President-elect Donald Trump, held a star-studded party on Friday night that featured celebrities from the worlds of entertainment and politics.

George Lucas, Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro were among the stars seen outside the White House entering the party.

Secretary of State John Kerry and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi both made appearances, along with Al Sharpton, Lena Dunham and Jason Sudeikis.

The Washington Post reported before the party that VIPs who could make the cut also included Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce and Jay-Z, Samuel L. Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Bradley Cooper.

Here’s a rundown of tweets and other social media posts from Friday night highlighting some of the entries.
