Shia LaBeouf is taking a four-year-long stand against President Trump, launching a lengthy protest on Inauguration Day on Friday.

The performance art project asks participants to step in front of a camera mounted in front of New York’s Museum of the Moving Image and repeat the phrase, “He will not divide us.”

The camera will live-stream "continuously" for the entirety of Trump’s term as commander in chief, according to a website for the project.

"In this way, the mantra 'HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US' acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community,” the site states.

Actor Jaden Smith kicked off the project by reciting the phrase for more than three hours to the camera.

LaBeouf tweeted a photo of Smith to his more than 490,000 followers on Twitter on Friday:

The eccentric 30-year-old “Transformers” actor is known for being behind some eyebrow-raising art performances, including a live-stream showing LaBeouf watching all of his films in a three day binge session, and one in which he hunkered down in an elevator at Oxford University for 24 hours.
