Reality television star Kim Kardashian on Sunday weighed in on President Trump's immigration ban, driving social media users and fans of the star into a frenzy.

Kardashian tweeted a photo of statistics showing the causes of death for Americans that shows more people are killed by other Americans than by terrorists. The source of the statistics was not immediately clear.

Social media users had a mix of responses. Some cheered on the reality star, while others called her out or mocked her because her husband, Kanye West, has expressed support for the president.

The executive order Trump signed on Friday prohibits foreign nationals from seven predominantly Muslims countries — Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen and Libya — from entering the U.S.

The immigration restriction is expected to stay in place for a minimum of 90 days.

The Trump order also bars Syrian refugees from entering the U.S. indefinitely, and halts all refugee resettlements for four months while official aim to tighten the vetting process, which is already the strictest in the world.

The Trump administration has cited "radical Islamic terrorism" as one of the reasons for the tightened vetting process.
