President TrumpDonald TrumpUkraine's president compares UN to 'a retired superhero' Collins to endorse LePage in Maine governor comeback bid Heller won't say if Biden won election MORE on Friday misspelled "hereby" in two tweets, which have since been deleted and replaced with the correct spelling.
Both tweets called for an investigation into Senate Minority Leader Charles SchumerChuck SchumerBiden touts 'progress' during 'candid' meetings on .5T plan Progressives push for fossil subsidy repeal in spending bill Louisiana delegation split over debt hike bill with disaster aid MORE (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for their ties to Russia.
The first tweet spelled hereby "hear by," so Trump deleted it and replaced it with another tweet. But that second tweet spelled "hereby" as "hearby," again a misspelling.
Trump finally sent out a third tweet spelling "hereby" correctly.
I hereby demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it. https://t.co/qCDljfF3wN— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 3, 2017
Social media users were quick to jump on the mistakes, despite the effort to delete and correct the tweets:
