Bush twins to release memoir about their ‘wild’ lives

Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush, the daughters of former President George W. Bush, are penning a book together about their “wild” lives.
“Sisters First: Stories From our Wild and Wonderful Life” is poised to hit store shelves in October, Bush Hager announced on “Today” on Wednesday.
“We always daydreamed that we would write a book together, because we’ve had so much fun having a partner in everything that we’ve done, since we’re twins,” Bush said.
The 35-year-olds were “born into very extraordinary circumstances, both with our grandparents and our parents,” she said.
{mosads}Bush Hager suggested the memoir will touch on both the good and the bad, including when the sisters were “partners in crime.” The pair made headlines after being cited for underage drinking as teenagers.
“We have to talk a little bit about the trouble we got in, because you know, you only live once,” Bush Hager, an NBC News correspondent, said with a laugh.
“This, by the way, is not your typical political memoir,” she added, “This is really stories from our life. We hope that it inspires other women to have each other’s backs.”
