Ice Cube: Black community not high on Trump’s priorities list

Rapper and actor Ice Cube said on Thursday that President Trump has not done much for the black community, adding that blacks are not high on the president’s list of priorities.

“What has he done?” he asked on WABC-AM’s “Bernie & Sid Show.”

“To me, the last guy tried to do a lot, he had to do a lot to try to mop up the mess that was left,” he continued, referring to former President Barack Obama.

{mosads}“It took pretty much eight years to try to pull this country out of, and you know, he ran out of time. So that being said, I think Trump took over a White House and a country that was in way better shape,” he said.

Ice Cube, who has previously said that Trump represents the “American Dream” to many people, added during the radio appearance that while he does not think the president has ill will toward blacks, the president does not consider them a priority.

“I don’t think there’s an animosity, but I don’t know how high we are on his list of priorities,” he said.
