Rubio had criticized President Trump’s controversial response to a deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., last week. In remarks Tuesday, Trump said there was “blame on both sides” for the violent weekend.

One woman was killed and several more injured when police say a car allegedly driven by a man with ties to white supremacists rammed into a crowd of counterprotesters.

In a Tuesday message aimed at Trump, Rubio wrote on Twitter, “You can’t allow #WhiteSupremacists to share only part of blame. They support idea which cost nation & world so much pain.”

While it was unclear if Rubio was addressing Baio’s tweets, Rubio, who frequently quotes Bible verses on Twitter, did so again in a Friday post.
