A GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting has garnered more than $1,000,000 just hours after launching.

The page, created by Clark County Commission Chair Steve Sisolak, will be used to "provide relief and support to the victims and families.”

Over $1.2 million of the campaign’s $2 million goal had been raised on Monday afternoon.

Sisolak wrote that he was “at Clark County’s only level-one trauma center with the victims and their families as we speak.”

ITK confirmed with a GoFundMe representative that the campaign is verified.

At least 58 people were killed and more than 500 were injured after a suspect shot at concertgoers at a Las Vegas country music festival on Sunday, according to police.

The suspect, identified as Stephen Paddock, was found dead in his hotel room.
