Actor Ashton Kutcher is joining those pushing for gun control in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting on Sunday.

In a series of Tuesday tweets, Kutcher said he has had a gun since he was 12 years old, but the laws need to be changed.

"Let's pray. Then let's change the law," Kutcher tweeted.

Many Democratic lawmakers have pushed for gun control after the Las Vegas shooting, which left 59 people dead and more than 520 injured.

President Trump has said now isn't the time to be talking about new laws.

“We’ll be talking about gun laws as time goes on,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday.
He also sidestepped when asked about a piece of legislation that would allow more people to purchase gun suppressors, a measure opposed by gun-control advocates.
"We'll talk about that later," he said.
