TV personality Andy Cohen ‘speechless’ over Melania and Ivana Trump spat
The host of the Bravo series "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" says he's "speechless" that Melania Trump and Ivana Trump are engaged in a war of words.
Melania Trump shot back at a remark made by President Trump's first wife, Ivana Trump, during a Monday interview on "Good Morning America," in which Ivana Trump jokingly dubbed herself the "first lady."
"I have the direct number to White House, but I no really want to call him there because Melania is there," Ivana Trump, who was married to the then-New York real estate mogul from 1977 to 1992, told ABC's Amy Robach while promoting her soon-to-be-released book, "Raising Trump."
"I don't want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I'm basically first Trump wife," Trump continued.
"I'm first lady, OK?" she quipped with a smile.
In a statement, Melania Trump's spokeswoman called Ivana Trump's comments "attention seeking and self-serving noise."
Melania Trump, the first lady's rep said, "plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex."
Cohen, who's no stranger to cat fight-filled drama as the executive producer of Bravo's "Real Housewives" reality TV franchise, tweeted on Monday:
