Marc Anthony is blasting President Trump’s response to hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico, calling it “tone-deaf” and “idiotic.”

The “I Need to Know” singer slammed the president in a pair of Thursday tweets to his more than 10 million followers, writing:

The 49-year-old Grammy winner’s Twitter posts came the same day that Trump drew criticism after he tweeted:

The president was referring to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

White House officials appeared to walk back Trump's comment, with chief of staff John Kelly telling reporters the government will be assisting with recovery efforts "until the job is done."

Hurricane Maria inflicted widespread damage and island-wide power outages when it struck the U.S. territory last month, leaving many without clean water.

Anthony, whose parents are from Puerto Rico, isn’t the first entertainer with ties there to criticize the Trump administration’s response to the hurricane.

“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda warned Trump last month that “there will be a lot of American deaths on your watch” if disaster aid wasn’t quickly sent to Puerto Rico.
