Late night NBC comedian Seth Meyers ripped former "Today" host Matt Lauer on Thursday in the wake of the recent sexual misconduct accusations against the longtime anchor.

"As a general rule, if you’re giving someone a dildo at work, you’re the dildo at work,” Meyers said on his show "Late Night with Seth Meyers," referring to one of the accusations that Lauer gave a colleague a sex toy as a present and included a note about how he wanted to use it on her.

“I don’t know who you said you’d marry in those conversations, but I do know that you killed your career, and you f—d yourself," he said, referring to the lewd quiz game Lauer allegedly liked to take part in.

Meyer's comments come after Lauer was fired on Wednesday after an employee accused him of sexual misconduct.

Variety published a report after Lauer's termination detailing the accusations against Lauer.

In addition to giving a colleague a sex toy and engaging in the crass quiz game, Lauer also allegedly exposed himself to a female colleague.

Lauer has since apologized, but said some of the incidents in the allegations were mischaracterized.

"There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions," he said in a statement.

"To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry. As I am writing this, I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC."
