Alec Baldwin is working on a deal for a new talk show on ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Production of the show, which will be based on the actor's WNYC radio show and podcast "Here's the Thing With Alec Baldwin," is set to begin next week.

It's not clear when the show will air in ABC's lineup, and the deal is not yet finalized, according to the magazine, though it has been in the works for weeks.

Baldwin has become known for his ongoing impersonation of President Trump on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" — a role that won him an Emmy earlier this year.

The talk show would mark an expansion of Baldwin's relationship with ABC. He currently has a first-look deal with the company's television production division, ABC Studios, to work on scripted and unscripted projects, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He currently hosts the ABC game show "Match Game."
