Former Obama aide writing book titled ‘Yes We (Still) Can’

Dan Pfeiffer, who served as an aide to former President Obama, has scored a book deal, The Associated Press reported Thursday.

Pfeiffer, who co-hosts the podcast "Pod Save America" with several fellow Obama administration alums, is set to release "Yes We (Still) Can: Politics in the Age of Obama, Twitter and Trump" in June, according to the AP. 

The book will focus on Pfeiffer's time in the Obama White House, as well as the political rise of President TrumpDonald John TrumpHannity urges Trump not to fire 'anybody' after Rosenstein report Ben Carson appears to tie allegation against Kavanaugh to socialist plot Five takeaways from Cruz, O'Rourke's fiery first debate MORE, the news service reported.


It will be published by Twelve, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing.

Pfeiffer served as Obama's communications director through most of his first term in office, and then became a senior adviser to the president. 

Pfeiffer, Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett and Tommy Vietor have garnered a large following with their podcast, which attracts an average of about 1.5 million listeners per episode. The show has also featured high-profile guests, including Obama himself.
