The California Democrat tweeted to her more than 680,000 followers on Monday:

According to Forbes, Trump’s net worth actually is greater than that of Winfrey. On its 2017 Forbes 400 list of the richest Americans, Trump got 248th place, with a net worth of $3.1 billion, while Winfrey takes the 264th slot, with $3 billion.

In 2016, Trump became the first major party presidential nominee in 40 years to refuse to release his tax returns; his exact net worth is not known.

Waters — who has repeatedly called for Trump to be impeached — tweeted after a Sunday night Twitter post from the president following a segment on CBS’ “60 Minutes” featuring Winfrey.

Winfrey, a “60 Minutes” special contributor, interviewed a group of Michigan voters — half of whom had voted for Trump — about the country’s political divide.

Trump tweeted:

Speculation that Winfrey, 64, might make a 2020 White House bid went into overdrive last month after she delivered an emotional speech at the Golden Globes.

Winfrey has denied any political aspirations, saying it’s “not in my spirit.”
