Roseanne Barr says Pences are 'big fans' of her show

“Betsy our writer met @VP today! He told her he and Karen are big fans of the show! How nice is that?” Barr tweeted.

A reboot of "Roseanne" premieres on ABC on March 27. The original show aired on ABC from 1988 to 1997.


The updated version of the show will depict a family tackling issues in the Trump era. Barr will reportedly portray a grandmother who voted for President TrumpDonald John TrumpUSAID administrator tests positive for COVID-19 Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams among nominees for Time magazine's 2020 Person of the Year DOJ appeals ruling preventing it from replacing Trump in E. Barr, who has voiced support for Trump in the past, said last month that the 2016 election and having Trump in the White House have been “great for comedy.”

“Trump offended half of America, and [Hillary Clinton] offended the other half. So that’s great for sitcoms. It’s great for comedy. We’re lucky to have him as a president. It’s great for comedy,” Barr said.

Barr made own White House bid in 2012 as the Peace and Freedom Party’s nominee.
