Following the deadly shooting at a high school in Parkland, Fla., Trump last month proposed arming trained teachers to protect students. A teacher would have “shot the hell out of” the gunman who killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Trump said in the week following the attack.

"When it came to the school shooting, that's when I was like, 'Okay, this n---a really think that everything is a joke,’ ” Cardi B says of Trump.

The 25-year-old former VH1 “Love & Hip Hop” star says she’s in favor of mental health evaluations for gun buyers and that the minimum age to purchase firearms should be raised above 21, according to GQ.

"I was such a dumb-ass when I was 21,” she says.

At 25, Cardi B says, “I got common sense now.”

The Bronx-born “Invasion of Privacy” rapper also says she’s a political science junkie who “love[s] government” and is “obsessed with presidents.”

“I’m obsessed to know how the system works,” she says.

Asked if she’d ever make the leap into politics, Cardi B replies, “I’d be wrong a lot of times.”

"I'm always watching the news. I'm always looking at it on my phone. I hate when you talk about something that's going on in the community, people think, because you're famous, you doing it for clout,” she says. “But you concerned about it because you are a citizen of America; you are a citizen of the world.

"If I want to get cool points, I could take a picture with a thong and my ass and y'all gonna give me the same amount of likes. I'm gonna trend even bigger."
