Kim Kardashian West defends Kanye on Trump: 'He's a free thinker, is that not allowed?'

“He’s a free thinker, is that not allowed in America? Because some of his ideas differ from yours you have to throw in the mental health card? That’s just not fair,” Kardashian West tweeted Wednesday.

“Now when he spoke out about Trump... Most people (including myself) have very different feelings & opinions about this. But this is HIS opinion,” she continued.

“He never said he agrees with his politics,” she added.

West had praised Trump earlier in the day, saying that the president was his “brother.”

However, he clarified his stance on Trump after he said Kardashian West called him over the tweet.

Trump later retweeted West’s praise, calling the comments “very cool.”
