Jennifer Aniston to play lesbian president in Netflix's 'First Ladies'

Jennifer Aniston is set to play a history-making commander in chief who's married to a woman serving as first lady.

The "Friends" alumna will star in "First Ladies," Netflix announced Friday.


The political comedy, which will co-star comic Tig Notaro as Aniston's wife, will "prove that behind every great another great woman," Netflix teased in a news release.

Notaro pitched the concept for the movie along with actress and wife Stephanie Allynne. The pair is writing the film, according to Netflix.

No word on a release date for "First Ladies.”
