“Ivanka Trump, who works at the White House, chose to post the second most oblivious tweet we’ve seen this week,” Bee, host of TBS's “Full Frontal," said during an opening segment on Wednesday’s show focused on separating migrant children from their parents at the Mexico–United States border.

Bee later apologized in a statement, calling her use of the term "inappropriate and inexcusable." 

“I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night," Bee said.

"I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.”

The remark from Bee came just a day after ABC pulled the plug on Roseanne Barr’s top-rated comedy, the rebooted “Roseanne,” after the comedian posted a racist tweet targeting former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett.

NBC’s Megyn Kelly called Bee’s Trump comment “disgusting,” tweeting on Thursday:
