“Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to many shots to the head by real boxers in movies. I watched him last night and truly believe he may be 'punch-drunk,'" Trump tweet Tuesday.

"I guess he doesn’t realize the economy is the best it’s ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country. Wake up Punchy!”

The president's tweet came just days after De Niro declared, "f--- Trump" while onstage at Sunday's Tony Awards.

“I’m going to say one thing: ‘F--- Trump,’” De Niro, one of Trump's most high-profile Hollywood critics, told the audience while presenting an award.

“It’s no longer ‘down with Trump,' it’s ‘f--- Trump,’ ” the 74-year-old performer — who won an Academy Award for playing a boxer in 1980's "Raging Bull" — said.

The audience erupted in cheers and stood in applause.

It's not the first time the two-time Academy Award winner has slammed the commander in chief. Earlier this year, the "Godfather Part II" star called Trump a "jerkoff in chief" and "a f---ing idiot."

Ahead of the 2016 presidential election, De Niro said he'd like to "punch [Trump] in the face."
