The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) recently started a campaign, called “Reunite an immigrant parent with their child," that has garnered more than $20 million for a Texas legal defense fund aimed at parents and children who have been separated after crossing the border illegally.

The campaign comes as the administration faces backlash for its treatment of immigrant families and minors at the U.S. southern border.

Fallon's tweet was in response to a tweet from Trump, in which the president slammed the comedian for comments made in a recent article.

"Jimmy Fallon is now whimpering to all that he did the famous 'hair show' with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have 'humanized' me-he is taking heat. He called & said 'monster ratings.' Be a man Jimmy!" the president tweeted.

Trump was referring to a Hollywood Reporter interview on Saturday in which Fallon said that he faced negative backlash for the 2016 interview.

"It was definitely a downtime,” Fallon told the publication. “And it’s tough for morale. There’s 300 people that work here, and so when people are talking that bad about you and ganging up on you, in a really gang-mentality."
