Lipstick sells out after Ocasio-Cortez says she wore it during debate
The lipstick Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wore during a debate leading up to her surprise primary victory over Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.) has since sold out.
The Stila brand “Stay All Day” lipstick, in a shade of bright red called Beso, was no longer available on the Stila or Sephora websites following Ocasio-Cortez’s victory, Quartz reported.
CBS News reported Friday that the product had since been restocked on the Stila website, as well as Ulta.com. The brand likely received a boost when Ocasio-Cortez tweeted out her choice of lipstick at a June 15 debate with Crowley.
I have been getting many inquiries about my debate lip color in the last two days.
I GOT YOU.

{mosads}Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described democratic socialist and former organizer for Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) presidential campaign, delivered a stunning upset when she defeated Crowley earlier this week.
She is heavily favored in her race in November, where at 28 she could become the youngest woman to be elected to the House.
