Kathy Griffin shares old Cohen tweet about Clinton going to prison after plea deal

Griffin quoted the tweet just hours after ABC News reported on Cohen's plea deal with federal prosecutors over his alleged campaign finance and tax fraud violations.

Other Trump critics and media observers also drew attention to Cohen's old tweet. 


Cohen, who was formerly Trump's longtime personal attorney, is reportedly entering into a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in New York. 

The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York’s office is running the probe, which came after a referral from special counsel Robert MuellerRobert Swan MuellerSasse: US should applaud choice of Mueller to lead Russia probe MORE's investigation. It remains unclear if Cohen's cooperation in this case will extend to other other federal investigations.
