Count Vanilla Ice among the passengers virtually frozen in place, quarantined on a plane in New York after roughly 100 travelers fell ill.
The Emirates flight was met by health officials when it landed Wednesday morning at John F. Kennedy International Airport on a trip from Dubai.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement that the passengers and crew “complained of illness including cough and some with fever.”
The 50-year-old “Ice Ice Baby” rapper and DIY Network host, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, tweeted to his more than 300,000 followers that he was on the flight, but wasn’t among the ill-stricken passengers.

You should go out and calm the situation by saying: “yo, you got a problem? I’ll solve it. Check out the mix while the DJ revolves it.”— Ryan Kisiel (@RyanKisiel) September 5, 2018
