Cook asked “Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?” earlier in the week after the entertainment news site asked her about a “Frozen” actor ripping a pro-Trump flag from an audience member’s hands during a curtain call last week.

“He killed presidents,” Cook’s husband, actor Tom Troupe, said of Booth.

“Just keep me out of jail,” said Cook, who has starred in Broadway productions of “42nd Street” and “Hello, Dolly!”

Booth assassinated Lincoln in 1865 during a performance at Ford’s Theatre in Washington.
