Obama will make stops across the country throughout November and December to promote her new memoir "Becoming." The book tour will feature "intimate and honest conversations" between Obama and moderators that will be announced soon, according to a press release.

The tour will kick off on the book's release date, Nov. 13, in Obama's hometown of Chicago, Illinois and end in Dallas, Texas on Dec. 17.

“I’ve spent the last year and a half reflecting on my story as deeply and honestly as I could, and now I’m thrilled to travel the country and do the same with readers this fall,” Obama said in the press release.

“I hope that this tour will inspire others to reflect upon and share their own stories—all the joys and sorrows, all the scars and renewals—so that together, we can better recognize that each of us, in our own way, is in a constant process of becoming," she added.

Other stops on the tour include Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C., the Barclays Center in New York City and the Wells Fargo Center in Pennsylvania, Pa.

Former President Obama is also working on a memoir of his own, though he has yet to announce a release date.
