Pelosi was a surprise guest at comedy festival Bentzen Ball during Van Ness’s live edition of his podcast, “Getting Curious,” according to HuffPost reporter Jennifer Bendery.

"We have to win,” Pelosi responded, according to HuffPost. “Go low, go high, whatever. We just have to win."

Pelosi and Van Ness also responded to questions from audience members. The top House Democrat also took a jab at those who demean transgender people: "You are so yesterday you don't even know it.

Van Ness, one of the breakout stars of Netflix’s reboot of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” has criticized the Trump administration, mocking Vice President Pence over his stance on LGBTQ issues.

The show has earned widespread praise for its approach to masculinity and LGBTQ issues.

Pelosi earlier this year also had a cameo as a guest on “RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars.”
